Then/Now: Performing Arts in Long Beach

Attending a performance in Long Beach has changed over the years, from watching a pianist in tux and tails at the Municipal Auditorium in 1932 (pictured), to enjoying your favorite artists through a livestream concert, from their home to yours.

No matter the musical styles, the venue, or the challenges of the times, one thing hasn't changed: We continue to seek out the performing arts for experiences that uplift, thrill, and connect us.
