Promote the Performing Arts
The Carpenter Center is committed to providing distinctive and affordable performing arts experiences while remaining a fiscally-responsible organization.
Why your contribution is important
- Although the Carpenter Center is located on the CSULB campus, less than 18% of our budget comes from the university.
- Ticket sales from our live music, dance, conversation, and other performances cover only a portion of the cost of presenting world-class artists.
- All of our Arts for Life activities, from free community concerts to arts education for Long Beach schooldchildren, are made possible by the generosity of donors.
- Donations fund our capital improvement projects, providing improved theatre experiences for all.
Make a difference
Although our theatre remains closed, our Virtual Arts for Life program continues to inspire. Help us bring free performing arts opportunities to Long Beach schoolchildren and to our community by making a donation at the link below.
Craft Your Legacy
Touch the lives of thousands in our arts community through a generous gift, bequest, grant or other contribution to the Carpenter Center in support of our arts activities.
